Firefighters risk their lives fighting fires, the fire trucks might change over time but the heroics of the brave firemen who serve our cities is always the same.

Did you know there is a Denver Firefighters Museum downtown? It near Civic Center and is in a vintage Firehouse from days of old. Located at 13th and Tremont there is plenty of metered parking right outside their door.

It is filled with vintage items, photos, engines, ladder trucks, too much to name. So much to take in. Children love the hands on exhibits. They can dress up in fireman gear and hop aboard the engine. Upstairs are interactive stations all about fire safety. There is also a vintage locker room, captains room and restroom. So fun to look at it all.
