The Parade of Homes – Heritage Hills

Parade of Homes DenverClosing after it’s final weekend this past Labor Day the Parade of Homes welcomed a record crowd.  We headed out to view the gorgeous abodes in Heritage Hills, just south of C-470 off of Yosemite.  Below are some of this reporters favorites.  Can I just say, “wow!”?

These homes were amazingly decorated, the layouts were fantastic, not one detail missed.

There were 4 homes on this tour and they certainly did not disappoint.  They are priced from $700,000 to $1.5 million.

The outdoor spaces are just as spectacular as the indoor ones.  Heated floors, fountains, fireplaces, amazing!

Denver Firefighter Museum

Did you know there is a Denver Firefighters Museum downtown? It near Civic Center and is in a vintage Firehouse from days of old. Located at 13th and Tremont there is plenty of metered parking right outside their door.

It is filled with vintage items, photos, engines, ladder trucks, too much to name. So much to take in. Children love the hands on exhibits. They can dress up in fireman gear and hop aboard the engine. Upstairs are interactive stations all about fire safety. There is also a vintage locker room, captains room and restroom. So fun to look at it all.
