The Corner Bakery downtown at the Tabor has good food, yummy sweets, an array of drinks PLUS WiFi. We tried the fruit bowl and mini chocolate bundt cake. Nice decor, loved the lighting.

We love Denver, everything about it. We wanted to capture downtown from another perspective. Recently, we gave a budding young photog our point and shoot camera and asked them to snap some shots around downtown. Denver in all it’s glory can be found, from pretty to gritty!

Who doesn’t enjoy a good glass of wine? Whether you pair it with cheese, fruit or a meal it can be quite enjoyable and relaxing.
Did you know that there is a Winery right here, in Denver? Did you know that you can go in for wine tastings and learn all about wines.
Did you know this fabulous, cozy, inviting environment is right in the middle of downtown?
The Winery is open daily and aims to please the wine lover in you! You can drop in for a tasting, hold a tasting party and even make your own wine and hold a bottling party when it is ready. They also offer custom labels for your wine.
The Winery Denver /D’Vine Wine is located at 1660 Champa St, Downtown Denver.

Denver Firefighter Museum
Did you know there is a Denver Firefighters Museum downtown? It near Civic Center and is in a vintage Firehouse from days of old. Located at 13th and Tremont there is plenty of metered parking right outside their door.

Original Firehouse Doors
It is filled with vintage items, photos, engines, ladder trucks, too much to name. So much to take in. Children love the hands on exhibits. They can dress up in fireman gear and hop aboard the engine. Upstairs are interactive stations all about fire safety. There is also a vintage locker room, captains room and restroom. So fun to look at it all.

One of Denver’s biggest assets, amenties, havens so to speak, is the Denver Public Library. With over 20 branches that include the huge, beautiful Downton Denver Branch. Escape into a cove, corner, desk and get lost in a book or a magazine. Use the internet, look at media sections and more. The downtown Denver Public Library also has an entire floor dedicated to historical records that include newspapers, magazines, historical works of arts and geneology records. The collective is vast and extremely useful for researchers of all types.
Recently the library debuted a really, super-cool website. Whether you are a Denver native or a curious visitor this site has something to offer you. It is filled with history, pictures, personal stories about Denver. Includes an area for building histories, great for history buffs. The website is called Creating Communities, I recommend you take a visit, explore and enjoy!

When you visit the Downtown Branch be sure to walk around the building and enjoy the architecture of the library and the Denver Art Museum, plus bonus art throughout the grounds.
