I knew full well that the Denver Broncos have never won in Baltimore. But it gets worse. The Broncos typically get destroyed in Baltimore and it happened again yesterday as the Ravens handed the Broncos a 31-17 defeat.
Kyle Orton was his usual self posting over 300 yards and 2 TD’s. Knowshon Moreno was a no-show since he’s still nursing a hamstring injury. The rest, as they say, is history.
Back in the late 90’s the Broncos bread-n-butter play was the old half back toss left, to Terrell Davis of course, and it always worked like a charm.
The new bread-n-butter play is the short bubble screen and it works…sometimes.
It didn’t work against the Ravens, unfortunately. So what are we to make of this 2-3 Broncos team? Can they turn this around or will they continue to give the fans a hair pulling experience watching them play?
