Whether you think the Floyd Mayweather jr. vs. Conor McGregor fight is a joke or a blockbuster you have to admit one thing. Everybody is talking about it, which means it is a blockbuster fight that will make each fighter a lot of money.

If there’s one word to describe the intrigue in a Mayweather McGregor fight it is simply this – interesting.

Mayweather, considered perhaps the best pound-for-pound boxer in the last 25 years, has championship boxing experience but is 40 years old. McGregor has youth and moxie. McGregor has power in both hands and while he may not have championship boxing experience he has UFC experience. He is a championship fighter.

In the NFL the saying goes Any Given Sunday, in a boxing match they say one punch can change everything and that’s what McGregor is banking on. The hard part will be landing a clean shot on Floyd Mayweather which is something professional championship boxers have had a hard time doing the last 20 years.
