Rockies Need Some Help

What’s next for the Colorado Rockies? Sure they are currently in 3rd place in their division but that includes a 74-85 record. Something has to change. But what? Is it mostly players or coaching?

The best player on the team is 3rd baseman Nolan Arenado who has 40 home runs and 131 RBI’s but that’s not enough. The Rockies have shown the ability to go on win streaks but not the ability to win consistently, the losing streaks happen far too often.

There has always been a saying in baseball that you can’t make a hitter, but I think you can improve a hitter. More than you can improve a fielder. More mistakes are made hitting than in any other part of the game. – Ted Williams

Trevor Story was a welcomed addition to the team, I’m sure you’re as excited as I am to see how he does next year.

Let’s say your the Rockies owner – what do you do this off season? Make a trade? Let go of Walt Weiss? What is going to help this team win the pennant next season? Something has to change or we’ll probably be looking at another losing season.

One move they didn’t make when they had the chance was signing Tim Tebow to their minor league team.
