Peyton Manning – Broncos Win It All Go 19-0

Denver BroncosThat very well could be a real headline in about 15 weeks the way the Denver Broncos are playing so far this season. Peyton Manning is playing on perhaps the best overall team he has ever been on and is playing possibly the best football of his career.

The result so far has been the Broncos out scoring opponents 179-91 a quarter of the way through the season. At this pace the Broncos would shatter the NFL team record for most points scored in a single season which was set by the 2007 New England Patriots with 589, the Broncos would score 716 points at their current rate.

Peyton Manning and the offense look like a well-oiled machine that has played together for years but that’s not all that makes this Denver team special. The special teams scored 14 points in yesterday’s game against the Eagles and the defense has been solid.

The way things are looking right now the only way the Broncos can be beat is by beating themselves.

Crazy Stats:

Peyton ManningPeyton Manning leads NFL quarterbacks with 1,470 yards 16 TD’s 0 INT and a whopping 138.0 QB rating.

The Broncos next victim is America’s former team the Dallas Cowboys. Don’t expect Denver to score anything less than 37 points because they haven’t so far this season.

Looking ahead at the rest of the Broncos schedule it’s really hard to pick a team that can beat them Any Given Sunday rule or not. The two toughest looking games appear to be at New England and one at Kansas City but by all means those are winnable for the Blue & Orange.

There’s an old slang saying in these parts and right now it’s a very legitimate question – Who dey say gonna beat dem Broncos?
