Share

B-cycle is a next-gen bike-sharing system. In layman’s terms: B-cycles are magic bikes that are there when you want one and gone when you don’t. Just swipe your card, grab a bike, and get to where you’re going.

You can purchase daily, weekly, monthly or yearly passes. What a great concept! There are over 30 stations to check bikes out from. You can also return to stations other than the one you rented from! For more information visit the Denver B-Cycle Website.

Catching The Rockies Fever

Share

Colorado RockiesEver since Ubaldo Jiménez pitched a no-hitter on April 17th against the Atlanta Braves you knew 2010 would be a special season for the Colorado Rockies.

It was the first no-hitter in the 18-year history of the storied baseball franchise. Remember the Blake Street Bombers? Now the Rockies play U-ball (the nickname for Jiménez’s four-seam fastball).

Everybody knows about the 10 game win streak that saw the Rockies sweep the Padres, Reds and Diamondbacks. The Rockies seem to be playing with a we can’t lose attitude.

Some people say Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki willed the Rockies to victory over the Padres recently. Whatever it is the Rockies are winning and that gets people talking.

Every where I go the people have Rockies fever. They’re all talking about the Colorado Rockies.

Tale of Two Running Backs

Maurice Jones-Drew is the Jacksonville Jaguars star running back in his 5th season out of UCLA. Knowshon Moreno is the Denver Broncos second year running back out of Georgia. Both backs have been nursing injuries. Both are expected to play in the regular season opener on September 12th.

Jones-Drew is expected to come out of the gate full-throttle whereas Moreno is still a question mark. Jones-Drew was held out more as a formality – Moreno has been nursing a serious hamstring injury.

Some questions will be answered when the Broncos and Jaquars face each other for the NFL regular season opener. One of them will be the tale of the two running backs, Maurice Jones-Drew and Knowshon Moreno, and just how healthy they are.
