Comedy -Tuesday Night Throwdown

Two long form improv teams face off against each other with 20-minute sets, in an attempt to claim the Colorado improv cagematch record. Based on your votes, one team will emerge victorious and go on to play again the next week, and one team will leave with nothing. No matter who wins, this night is guaranteed to be fast, fun, and full of frenzy! Tuesday Night Throwdown also features top-notch performances from the Bovine Metropolis House

Comedy Works’ New Talent night is every Tuesday at 8:00 PM. On any given Tuesday night you’ll see a plethora of new and professional talent. Sometimes 15 to 20 acts will be up there giving it their all.

Treat yourself or your friends and family to an entertaining astronomy  presentation and then view the heavens through the famous 20-in Alvan Clark – Saegmuller refracting telescope. 

 

All public nights start with an informative astronomy presentation by a DAS lecturer. Presentations are illustrated with colorful computer graphics shows, videos, and/or whatever audio/visual method is appropriate.

Astronomy presentations are designed for visitors of all ages. Additionally, visitors will be treated to telescopic views of the moon, stars, planets, galaxies, nebulae, etc., through Chamberlin’s historic 20-inch Alvan Clark-Saegmuller refracting telescope. (weather permitting).
