Meet Me at Skateland

Denver has a rich history and heritage, so many things to celebrate. So many memories. Skateland on South Broadway was a popular gathering spot among youth and families in South Denver and was certainly one of them. They had the most beautiful wood rink that made an unforgettable sound as the wheels rolled over it.

This nostalgic skating rink paved the way for the 80’s skating rinks with the neon skate covers, hit music and couples skating (with one skating backwards)! Now it’s onto roller blades and skate parks but there’s something innocent, something to be said of the good old-fashioned skating rink experience.
