Vance Joseph is, you would think, currently sitting on the hot seat. The Broncos have lost four strait games and the last two were not pretty. John Elway had to “sleep” on the decision to fire VJ after last season’s end so you have to wonder if he might be thinking it’s time to pull the trigger.
Firing Joseph would mean you need to replace him. Replacing head coaches in the NFL isn’t exactly easy. At least not always easy to get the right one.
We don’t even know if John Elway has a replacement in mind and firing your head coach mid-season isn’t always a good thing either. Do you choose an interim coach from within the organization? Bill Musgrave could be a candidate. There’s a guy named Gary Kubiak that’s a “consultant” or whatever his job tile is. It all depends on what the front office (John Elway) is thinking.
Or pump the brakes because Super Bowl 50 MVP, Von Miller, says that the Broncos are going to “kick ass” tonight when the Broncos face the Arizona Cardinals for Thursday Night Football. A win is a win in the NFL and a big win on national TV makes it that much sweeter.
Here’s what some Twitter folk are tweeting:
If the Broncos don’t beat the Cardinals tonight I’m starting a petition to fire Vance

If/when John Elway fires Vance Joseph during the season, does Elway try to persuade Gary Kubiak to return to the sideline as interim coach?

Put in Kelly, Fire Joe Woods, let some kid in the stands call the offense. We suck as a whole and I blame the coaching staff. Vance Joseph is horrible. I can only hope Mr Elway takes it into his hands.

Is there anyway that the @Broncos can get a big win tonight but still fire Vance Joseph tomorrow morning 🙏🏻 #agirlcandream

"Fire Vance Joseph!"
"Sack Joe Woods!"
"Bench Case Keenum!"
The people want change and they want it now.
There's just one problem…

Game time is only hours away. Whatever happens in the near future should be interesting in Broncos Country.
