The Denver Broncos have failed to make a splashy move thus far in the off season…or have they? Some fans are adamant that the starting left tackle is not on the roster, others want Tony Romo. I’m not so sure that’s what Denver needs or wants.
The Broncos are not going to trade for Romo, that’s just not going to happen. Trevor Siemian is poised to have a far better year in 2017 than he did last season. Trevor has a season under his belt as the starter and is healed from his shoulder injury which puts the Broncos in good hands.
Let’s not forget that the Broncos signed guard Ron Leary to a four-year contract and OT Menelik Watson to a three-year contract – bingo! Huge moves. Defense? How about getting NT Domata Peko and DE Zach Kerr and LB Kasim Edebali. Now we’re talking!
Get off Elway's back! Broncos GM fortified the fronts on both sides of the ball. Ron Leary, Menelik Watson, Domata Peko, Zach Kerr. #9sports

The biggest off season move of all was the hiring of Vance Joseph. Not only that but getting Mike McCoy for OC and Bill Musgrave as quarterbacks coach is a game changer. Face it, Kubiak’s system wasn’t working here. I believe that’s a big reason why he’s gone. I don’t think he’s done coaching in the NFL. Not yet.
Kansas City and Oakland better watch their backs. The Broncos are making quiet but solid moves. For the everybody out there ready to hand the division over to the Chiefs or Raiders I’ve got news for you. The Broncos had some off season splash and still have 10 picks in the up coming draft.
