The NFL Playoffs are about to get real for the Denver Broncos and their fans. The bye week is over. The opponent is set. The game is about to be on!
The Broncos will host the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Broncos will be out for revenge. The Steelers escaped Cincinatti with the win but they didn’t come out unscathed. WR Antonio Brown ended the game with a concussion and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger suffered a sprained right shoulder. They are banged up but who isn’t this time of year?
Here are my divisional round predictions:
#broncos can beat anybody at home but after watching #KCChiefs today I believe Denver matches up better with #Steelers

Pittsburgh @ Denver: Troy Renck says bring on the Steelers and so do I. Big Ben has struggled on the road and his status at this point for the game is uncertain. It’s very, very hard to picture Denver losing this game at home after the bye week. The weather is expected to be a nice, calm 44° day. Right up Peyton Manning’s alley. A far cry from the <cough cough> freezing game against the Ravens 3-years ago.
Kansas City @ New England: The Chiefs are on fire! But I’m going to go out on a limb and say it takes more than being on a role against average NFL teams to defeat Belichick, Tom Brady and the Patriots in their house. Brady’s favorite receiver, Julian Edelman, will be returning to action for the first time since week 10. He was missed greatly during that span. Patriots do what they do at home, win.
Seattle @ Carolina: The Panters are such a sexy pick right now aren’t they. Sitting pretty after the bye week with their 15-1 record. Only problem is — their opponent. The Seahawks find a way to win this time of year, face it. You can spin Carolina to me any way you want, the most rabid Panthers fan can spoon feed me all the facts but guess what? The Seawhaws will win, just ask the Vikings.
Green Bay @ Arizona: Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is convinced that their big win against the Redskins is all they needed to climb out of their little late season slumb — I’m not. Not against the Cardinals anyway. The only way I see the Packers winning is if Carson Palmer goes down in the 1st half during the came and cannot return. Calm down, I’m not trying to jinx Arizona just calling it how I see it. Cardinals derail the Packers.
It THAT team shows up next week, we can take down the Cardinals. #BeatArizona
