When the Denver Broncos traded with the Lions to move up 5 spots to pick Missouri DE Shane Ray with the 23rd pick in the 1st round of this years NFL draft you knew the Internet would go crazy.
Here is what some people are saying on Twitter.
Are you ready for all the weed jokes? #shaneray

Yes, marijuana is legal in Colorado, but Shane Ray will still not be allowed to partake. NFL rules supersede state law.

Of course, Shane Ray begins his @NFL career in the league’s substance abuse program. Will be tested over and over

Team that plays in state where marijuana is legal trades up to get Shane Ray.

It should be pointed out with Shane Ray pick that while marijuana is legal in Colorado, it is a banned substance according to NFL.

Shane Ray is a pass-rush specialist on the right side of the defense so he will be a great compliment to Von Miller and could be used with or to spell Demarcus Ware.
John Elway said the Broncos had Shane as the 10th ranked player of the draft!
